ANNOUNCEMENT – CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – March 27, 2020

 

CHANGE IN PICK UP DAYS FOR MEALS

 

As you know, the Pleasantville School District will remain closed through Spring Break.

The District is changing the days that meals can be picked up. 

Starting the week of Monday, March 30, 2020, meals can be picked up at any school in the District on MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS only.

On Mondays, you will pick up meals for both Monday and Tuesday.
On Wednesdays, you will pick up meals for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

 

The meals will be available for pick up on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9:00a.m. and 11:00a.m

We continue to urge all families to come to school to pick up these meals on Mondays and Wednesdays during the school closure.

As of today, school is scheduled to re-open on Monday, April 20, 2020.  If that date changes, we will let you know.  Please stay safe during this challenging time in our society.

ANUNCIO - ACTUALIZACIÓN DE CORONAVIRUS - 27 de marzo de 2020

 

CAMBIO EN LOS DÍAS DE RECOGIDA DE COMIDAS

 

Como saben, el Distrito Escolar de Pleasantville permanecerá cerrado durante las vacaciones de primavera.

El Distrito está cambiando los días en que se pueden recoger las comidas.

 

A partir de la semana del lunes 30 de marzo de 2020, las comidas se pueden recoger en cualquier escuela del Distrito solo los LUNES Y MIÉRCOLES.

 

Los lunes, recogerá comidas tanto para lunes como para martes.

Los miércoles, recogerá las comidas los miércoles, jueves y viernes.

Las comidas estarán disponibles para recoger los lunes y miércoles entre las 9:00 a.m. y 11:00 a.m.

Continuamos instando a todas las familias a que vengan a la escuela a recoger estas comidas los lunes y miércoles durante el cierre de la escuela.

A partir de hoy, la escuela está programada para volver a abrir el lunes 20 de abril de 2020. Si esa fecha cambia, se lo haremos saber. Manténgase a salvo durante este momento difícil en nuestra sociedad.

ANNOUNCEMENT – CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – March 23, 2020

The Pleasantville School District will continue be closed through Spring Break.  The schools will re-open on Monday April 20, 2020.  However, this date may change – we will keep you informed.

In accordance with guidelines from our Governor, the NJ Department of Education and the Atlantic County Department of Education, the Pleasantville School District will remain closed through Spring Break.  At this time, schools will RE-OPEN on MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2020However, this date may change – we will keep you notified.

For elementary students, additional packets of school work will be available for students to pick up at their school during the hours of 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m., at the same time the meals are available for pick up.

The Middle School and High School students are instructed to continue to check in online everyday on the District website, Google Classroom, Google Hangout and/or other learning platforms for the school work that they will be responsible for completing each day during the school closure.

Meals will continue to be made available for pick up every morning at each school during the hours of 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.  We continue to urge all families to come to school to pick up these meals every day during the school closure.

The challenges continue for all of our students and staff during this difficult time.  We are hopeful that an end is in sight.  However, we can only monitor the information daily and make decisions based upon guidance from our government officials that are in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of our students.  Please stay safe during this time.  We will get through this, and we look forward to when our schools and our lives can return to normal.

Las escuelas volverán a abrir el lunes 20 de abril de 2020. Sin embargo, esta fecha puede cambiar, lo mantendremos informado.

De acuerdo con las pautas de nuestro Gobernador, el Departamento de Educación de NJ y el Departamento de Educación del Condado de Atlantic, el Distrito Escolar de Pleasantville permanecerá cerrado hasta las vacaciones de primavera. En este momento, las escuelas volverán a abrir el lunes 20 de abril de 2020. Sin embargo, esta fecha puede cambiar, lo mantendremos informado.

In Loving Memory Ms. Sara Smith, NMSS With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved Sara Smith.   In loving memory of Sara , we are saddened to announce her  passing on March 22. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.  May she forever rest in peace.
